As Internal Audit Manager, you play a crucial role within the organization. You independently and objectively assess the operational activities of Group of Hotels. By means of systematic audits, you make a direct contribution to achieving the organizational objectives. You guarantee the effectiveness, reliability and completeness of business information, risk management and internal control processes.

Job description

  • Drafting an annual risk-based audit plan, resource plan, business plan and department budget.
  • Performing organization-wide risk analyses to identify significant risks.
  • Coordinating the audit plan and activities with the external accountant.
  • Reporting to the Holding Management, the Audit Committee and the Supervisory Board.
  • Performing timely audits via a transparent process, focused on reliable recommendations.
  • Monitoring and assessing improvement actions from internal audits.
  • Advising on governance, risk management and control processes.
  • Facilitating the risk reporting process and increasing risk awareness within the organization.
  • Supporting the further design of the corporate risk management process.
  • Determining qualitative and quantitative information needs.

  • You have completed a higher professional or university education, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
  • You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, Compliance, Internal Control or Auditing.
  • You have knowledge of accounting standards such as US GAAP and IFRS.
  • You have a CIA, CPA, RO or RA title or are willing to obtain one.
  • You have strong analytical skills and financial insight.
  • You are familiar with governance principles and management models.
  • You work in a structured and systematic manner and can set priorities well.
  • You have excellent knowledge of the MS Office package.
  • You have excellent communication skills, both in Dutch and English.
  • You are stress-resistant and can function well under pressure.
